Convergence
Angled glass, digital projection, a 19th-century theatrical trick brought up to date. Semi-transparent figures that share the room with you.
Pepper's Ghost is an old illusion — a pane of glass, an image projected from below, a figure that appears to float in empty air. Convergence wires it to motion sensors so the projected figures respond to where you stand. The trick stays visible; that's the point.
