Convergence

Pepper's Ghost Immersive Installation

Ghost figure sketch

An exploration of presence and absence through layered digital visuals and physical space. Convergence examines how we perceive and remember people, places, and moments—creating a sense of fleeting memories and hidden narratives that invite viewers to reflect on what remains visible versus concealed.

Concept

Using the Pepper's Ghost optical illusion technique, this installation layers transparent and reflective surfaces to create ethereal, floating imagery. The piece explores the liminal space between what is present and what is absent.

Medium

Interactive installation combining physical glass surfaces, projection mapping, and AI-generated visuals. The Pepper's Ghost effect creates holographic-like apparitions that appear to exist in physical space.

Experience

Viewers move through the installation space, encountering spectral figures and fragmented scenes that materialize and dissolve. The interplay between solid and transparent creates an immersive meditation on memory.
